Lucy says, "I've been down at the library all morning."<BR><BR> Lucy continues, "I've been doing a little research."<BR><BR> Lucy says, "There's not one case in all medical history where a dragonfly sewed up someone's lips so he couldn't eat, and he starved to death!"<BR><BR> Snoopy and Woodstock continue to sit on the doghouse. Snoopy covers his mouth and thinks, "I wonder why they'd cover up something like that . . ."<BR><BR>

It’s kind of perceptive, in a way. This is precisely how conspiracy theories work. When presented with the fact that there’s no evidence for the conspiracy, the conspiracy theorist takes this as proof that there’s been a coverup.
Lucy tells them that there’s no evidence that dragonflies sew up peoples lips, so Snoopy, instead of accepting the fact that dragonflies don’t to this, he instead concludes that there’s a coverup.
