Marcie lies on the ice without her glasses. Peppermint Patty watches over her. A boy asks, "How can we play hockey with that stupid girl lying on the ice?"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty asks, "Do you guys have a puck?" A boy holds a puck and says, "Sure! What do you think this is?"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty says, "Give it to me . . . I want to show you a little trick . . ."<BR><BR> The boy stands with the hockey puck in his mouth.<BR><BR>

Yes, THAT sure would have served him right; too bad there were not TEN pucks, so his friends could all have gotten it, as well. You can tell Patty was willing to stand up for Marcie, considering how “out of it” Marcie was, at the moment.

Oh yeah. Patty standing up to those bullies while Marcie’s out cold is definitely true friendship
