This reminds me of something that happened to me in high school. I wore a shirt that said “God loves you (and I’m trying).” A girl that never talked to me told the teacher she was offended. I said, “Offended by what, that I don’t love you?” She said, “Yes.” She was offended that there might be someone that didn’t love her….
