Linus rolls a snowball along. He places it next to a smaller one.<BR><BR> Lucy walks along the snow-covered field asking,"Hey, what do you think you're doing?"<BR><BR> He places the larger snowball atop the smaller one and replies,"Building a snowman."<BR><BR> As he wipes the perspiration from his brow, she exclaims,"But he's upside down!"<BR><BR> As he kneels in the snow putting the facial organs on the snowman, she continues,"A snowman is supposed to be fun to look at."<BR><BR> She walks off saying,"No one is going to care about a snowman who's upside down!"<BR><BR> Snoopy stands on his head looking at the snowman. He thinks,"How quaint!"<BR><BR>

I never understood Linus’ purpose here, either, of wanting to build an upside-down snowman, but then, that was Linus for you—he really could and would do the most OFFBEAT things(to say nothing of his Great Pumpkin fetish), really not unlike, or untypical of, a mad scientist.
