Lucy leans on the piano as Schroeder plays. She says,"I've been thinking about us...."<BR><BR> She looks back at him and says,"You know...you and me...."<BR><BR> She continues,"I suppose there comes a time when most relationships simply come to an end...maybe that's happened to us..."<BR><BR> She stands up and continues,"I guess it will be better all aound if we just part sort of friendly and admit that the love we once had is now gone..."<BR><BR> She walks off saying,"These things happen every day...I guess we just think it'll never happen to us, but it did....we had our love, but now it's gone!"<BR><BR> She starts laughng and exclaims,"HaHaHaHaHa! Boy, I really had you fooled, didn't I? I really had you worried! HaHaHaHaHa! I'm sorry if I upset you...I really had you going, didn't I? HaHaHaHaHa! I had no idea you'd get so upset..."<BR><BR> She stands in front of Schroeder and watches as he continues to play.<BR><BR> She slumps against the piano with a grimace and exclaims,"Rats!"<BR><BR>

The probability is that he didn’t even hear what she was saying, as he was focused on his music.

Typical Schroeder, just TUNING Lucy out—his way of showing that he wants NOTHING to do with her.
