Are these guys too young to have special gym clothes?

Spud does have a point. In that he’s never going to get dated at this rate.

Here’s an idea, supposing the school has showers. They could both get completely wet and go into class drenched, with some wild tale (escaping from a swarm of wild bees comes to mind). That would at least not be embarrassing.

Spud is thinking too far ahead. He would be reminded of it at every class reunion.

Just sneak out of the building and run down the street in your underpants. I do it all the time.

He’s better off admitting to the lesser crime of eating the pudding. At least his reputation can get over that.

Reading the second panel I thought, hey, at least he gets to reproduce! But the third panel quashed that idea..

Just put the pants back on and explain to the teacher. He might get a quickly hushed round of applause.

I would just not go back into the classroom. ever.

Most excellent strip today; made me guffaw for a whole minute.
