Gosh this brings back memories. I am trying to remember the last time a TV show went on the fritz and the message scrolled on the screen, “We are experiencing technical difficulties. DO NOT ADJUST YOUR SET.” (Can you actually adjust the set of new TVs anymore? V-hold and horizontal hold?) The last time was maybe the year 1979, if I remember. There are young people approaching 40 years of age who have no memory of a TV glitch. Live in the field news reports on news stations excepted.

New TVs or TV News?
Both are for sell to the highest bidder nowadays.

As the quality of TV sets increases, the quality of the programs decreases.
