Canadians have to wait to months for Christmas after their Thanksgiving in October. Makes me wonder what they do during those weeks in between (aside from Halloween and Veterans’ Day).
Well the Brits don’t have Thanksgiving (very few even understand it – as in the above cartoon)… but they do have Halloween… All Saints… Guy Fawkes… Armistice… and Boxing Day… then the January Sales…

If I may wax nostalgic for a moment..when I was that age, I didn’t think much of Thanksgiving. Now it is my second favorite holiday!
