Deanna: On a cold day like this, an active boy like you needs to start the day with something warm and nutritious. Gary: First, we add some dried cranberries, golden currants and raisins. Then sprinkle on some cinnamon and toss in a few silvered almonds. Finish with butter, milk and honey. Jack: It's not very sparkly. Gary: Right-I forgot the sugar. Jack: It's not very colorful. Gary: No problem. Deanna: That preparation would make cardboard appeal to a kid. Gary: Like cardboard isn't made from oatmeal...

I remember a bio experiment where rats were fed a variety of popular cereals. The ones that did best were the ones fed shredded cereal boxes.
