Jack has a huge inferiority-superiority complex, doesn’t he? He just hates the thought of his two best friends being better than him at his favorite game.

In Jack’s eyes, no one will or should ever be better than him at his favorite sport. Not Abby! Not Mondo! Not Bailey! Not Jet Logan! Nobody! He will always be number one.

You know, just because he will never be better than Abby, doesn’t mean they both won’t be worthy of being in the World Cup. Remember, everyone else in the World Cup is not as good as the very best player, but it’s the best team that wins … barring crappy officiating. Or as they say in Alaska, “The view doesn’t change if you’re not the lead dog.”
