Linus walks up to a house. He rings the doorbell. He waits.<BR><BR> He says to the person at the door,"Good morning, my name is Linus Van Pelt, and I'm here to tell you about the 'Great Pumpkin'...." He falls off the step as the door is slammed.<BR><BR> He stands by another door and says,"Good morning, as you are aware, tomorrow is Halloween, and I'd like to tell you about the 'Great Pumpkin'." He falls off the step as the door is slammed.<BR><BR> He stands by another door and says,"Good morning, I'm here to tell you about Halloween and the 'Great....." He falls off the step as the door is slammed.<BR><BR> He stands behind Lucy, who is sitting on the bean bag watching t.v. She turns her head and says,"Well, how did your door to door campaign go this time? I don't see how you can stand being treated so rudely..."<BR><BR> He replies,"I'll admit that it does tend to make me kind of...."<BR><BR> She looks at he falls over. She looks at the reader as he concludes,"....Jumpy!"<BR><BR>

Interesting that Lucy didn’t ask him in a derisive manner, and she actually showed some near-sympathy.
