I avoided the freshman 15 but I have no idea how. Some of my back to back lectures were in the same room right after each other. I’d get up and stretch between lectures. Furthest I had to travel between classes was about 3 rooms down the hall. All my across campus classes were after a break of 2 or 3 hours from the previous class.

This may be a dumb question, but what is the “freshman 15”?
