@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , but a variation of a theme , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp sober again has the missfsotune of being misunderstood Andy’s statement that it was quiet has got Jack’s knickers in a twist because he’s scared that the drunken sot we love to hate will ruin it:o) my avatar which I have used before is of a product I wish existed , a spay can that sprays bats that eat mozzies , I need one for when I go down to my back garden, the pesky critters would bleed me dry if I don’t cover up :o{ how was your day? and welcome back , our day should be busy but calm I hope , have fun and kudos on your donating your life saving blood Starlet, have a nice week-end Cappers past and present

Jack’s probably sensitive about the slow business. And the only two customers he has are two deadbeats.

Jack knows you all too well, Andy.

So much for Andy trying to make polite conversation.

But that’s bad for business, Jack. A packed pub gets the money rolling in.

However I agree with the drunken brawls. There is never a need for that.

I have never seen a real life bat before. We don’t have them around here.

I was going to go out to the Christmas Markets today but the weather was bad and I just wanted to stay cosy and warm at home.

I love the Christmas Markets and I try to go every year.

Quiet is good. Well, sometimes it is.

I used to prefer quiet local pubs….. no large screen TVs, loud music, rubbish food. But then, I haven’t been pubbing since 1996! Local pubs are disappearing.

Alcohol is a depressant, so I’m surprised that Andy is so “up” all the time.
