Fellow gets pulled over for speeding. Cop asks why he is driving so fast. He says I am just trying to keep up with traffic. Cop looks ahead and back, not a car in sight. Guy says “See how far behind I am?”
Yesterday I followed a guy for 5 miles on a country road that started out in a residential area with a 25 mph limit…he decided that must the speed for the entire road until we hit the highway. (It was all hills and corners; no place to pass him!)
even if we’re going faster than the posted limit, which we always are, the drivers behind will still pass us. they just seem to be really anxious to get to the next stop sign before us…

That’s so true.

I challenged myself to drive the exact speed limit for 2 days. It was wicked difficult & yes, everyone behind me wasn’t happy. Only my gas tank.

The speed limit is just a guideline

Another old joke:

Hey, slowpokes. Just stay out of the left lane. That’s all we ask.

“Judging from all the other cars on the road, I thought that sign back there was the speed minimum.”
