Linus stands on a chair and reaches into the cupboard for a bottle.<BR><BR> He walks by Lucy carrying the bottle and a shirt over his arm; she is sitting on the floor in the living-room reading. She looks at the bottle and asks,"What do you have there?"<BR><BR> He looks at the bottle and replies,"Laundry detergent"<BR><BR> He continues,"I decided I have to learn to do some things for myself..."<BR><BR> He continues,"It's ridiculous for a man not to know how to do his won laundry!" She says,"I agree"<BR><BR> From afar, he shouts,"RATS!" She walks towards him and asks,"What's the problem?"<BR><BR> She rolls her eyes and grimaces as he replies,"How do I get the shirt into the bottle?" Linus is struggling to shove his shirt in the laundry bottle.<BR><BR>

Not too great an exaggeration. Some otherwise intelligent people can be totally flummoxed by everyday household tasks.
