Every morning, I exchange emails with a friend who is elderly as a wellness check. Her daughter threw a hissy fit months back over nothing and wouldn’t speak to her. One day, the email wasn’t answered, a second email thirty minutes later wasn’t answered, a phone call wasn’t answered, so I called the daughter as instructed so she could do an in-person wellness check. My friend was fine, but through a series of weird events, she’d missed every communication. The scare was a good smack across the head to the idiot daughter that moms are here only so long, and they spent Christmas together. I firmly believe their guardian spirits caused those weird events. Sometimes, hard headed people need a good smack across the head to see what’s important.
