So clear into four (almost five) years ago, how did one in Dubai know the recipient got their mail? (Mr. Squires’ necktie collection is much bigger than mine which is thirty; pretty much one necktie per day per month.)
Who, in their right mind, would wear a tie seven days a week? There must have been some days in the past seven years that just didn’t warrant wearing a tie that day. I’ll mow the lawn as soon as I finish putting on today’s tie. Honey, which tie goes better with this bathing suit? Mind you, they don’t say that he wore it all day or even for a portion of the day. I guess he could have gotten out of bed, put on a tie, had breakfast and then taken it off for the rest of the day. I guess some people just don’t know what to do with all of their money.
I was going to make a really snarky comment about Ian and his ties but I did a little research and he seems like a nice guy with an odd hobby. I would suggest that instead of making wall art out of the used ties which is what he does, he donate them to a charity. There are about 2500 men that would benefit from his generosity if my math is correct.

Sounds like Ian has his money all tied up in neckwear.

So, what’s he done with the 2,555 ties he’s only worn once?

I’d look silly wearing one with a t-shirt.

I understand what Ian is doing, although I think it’s stupid. The other two entries – I don’t understand at all.

At $10 a tie, that’s $25,550. But at least he got on Ripley’s.

Can you imagine the radio static from that system…

Squires must belong to the same club as Elton John, I think it was, and his shoes. It’s more important to own 2,555 ties than to care for the needy.

But does Ian have a favourite?
