You’ll have to get rid of him. Now who should you call, Yosemite Sam or Blacque Jacque Shellacque?

Actually, June Foray did Granny, Tweety, and Witch Hazel, but Mel Blanc had it in his contract that he got credit for all the “voice characterizations.”

Mel had a talent. He cold carry on a conversation with himself in different voices. Very few others are like that. June Foray and Tara Strong come to mind.

Max Ferguson, known for years on CBC Radio as Ol’ Rawhide, used to put on radio plays with his own little “stock company.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Ferguson#Career You can hear some of his pieces on the Smithsonian/Folkways site, https://folkways.si.edu/max-ferguson/rawhide-radio-programme-ii-rawhide-a-satire/humor-soundtracks-musicals/album/smithsonian (the pieces are about $1.49 each)
