Milk in the crust?
I believe she’d like to try doing without you.
I buy the crust premade, no one has ever complained.
I am a man and been the major cook in my 40 years of marriage. I always say the best thing my wife makes for dinner is reservations.
As a long time pie baker you leave me perplexed. You put milk (usually buttermilk) in biscuit dough, but water in pie crust. Perhaps you mean in the filling?
