GATURRO: Without a translation, I guessing that G. was trying to emulate the dog.
PHANTOM & CRANKSHAFT: I love the artwork in both of these strips today!
FUNKY W: I’m with Cayla…how is flying out to Hollywood to meet with Mason Jarr, the movie star, a problem?
MARY WORTH: Aha! Here’s the storyline: Iris has health problems that remain unresolved after seeing a doctor, so she leaves Zak rather then burden him. Mary convinces Iris that leaving the person she loves (and who loves her) is a poor idea. Zak comes back into the picture and helps Iris find the better medical care that she needs (and there is a happy ending to this story).

Gaturro I believe he’s saying that dogs are eager to obey their masters while cats always disobey, but we want them just the same.
