Are they dancing? or just circling each other like boxers?

They were ‘Sparring’. I was waiting for them to get into a Liplock, perhaps later on. Looks as though the Gentleman who ‘broke it up’ is the one Mr. Thackery was suppose to be waiting for.

I’m finding this very hard to follow with these huge gaps. Still not quite sure what’s going on here.

The way they are circling reminds me of a style of Spanish fencing I saw on the Smithsonian Channel last year. Not a back and forth in one narrow area, there is a lot of movement, calculation and sizing up the opponent. Then…. the strike.

Can’t you see they’re in the middle of some intense saber rattling here, sir?

…surprised Ben’s keeping anything quiet about what he knows about Widdershins’s witch, seeing how he was so open about being upfront about it earlier, and thought Mal keeping quiet about it was a mistake.

But then I guess that’d rob him of his “I know something you don’t know” moment with his opponent here, wouldn’t it? :P

Let the one-upsmanship waltz and courting begin.

Also doesn’t or wouldn’t capt. Barber already know about Mal at this point?

I would so love to have seen this back-and-forth through Mal’s “Witch Vision”. Heck an entire arc like that could be fun.

Those two need to get a room… or a receptionist.

These two are either going to get along famously, or clash constantly.

I sense a budding romance.

Liza needs to take Ben out for long walks in the countryside to put some roses in his cheeks. He has an unhealthy pallor.
