I was going to comment about how I had thought Calvin and Hobbes was the first to have full-panel strips…then I remembered 1992 was actually near the end of C&H’s run, and Schulz’s freedom here is probably the result of Watterson’s efforts. Hard to believe it was so long ago.

Which relatives? I don’t see any I know. These all look like clones of Snoopy.

This one’s kinda blah, but I like all the Snoopys.

I think this was one of those that Schulz regretted later because it spoiled Snoopy’s uniqueness.
