Since I was from PA, I know how to pronounce it, how about any other readers? Schuylkill and Lemoyne trip up many, too. School-kill leemoin (as in “coin”) When going south or west in the USA their name pronunciations are just as confusing to me. Fun to learn about our world.
I am very familiar with Tunkhannock; my high school used to play them in football. Not a bad little main street, especially in summer when the flowers are out.
