At this point, I’m not sure why the hunter is careless. I mean, he hit his target, not an innocent bystander. And maybe the antelope ran away before the hunter could finish him off. We’ve seen Tarzan do more wanton killing of innocent animals. And I see Tarzan’s magical weapons are back again. In panel one he has no bow but does have the knife. In panels two and three, he has the bow but is missing the knife.
