That will be a top selling product in no time with how little thought people give to the environment. About 10 years ago the bulk food store where I work bagged every purchase. Then we started watching customer behaviour. There was a garbage can about 10 feet from our store in the mall. Roughly a third of all customers would walk to the garbage can. Take their purchases out of the bag and put them in their pockets and throw out the bag. None of them had the sense or curtesy to tell us “I don’t need/want a bag for my purchase.” Today we only provide bags if requested, encourage people to bring clean containers to put their products in so that they can just keep refilling their bottle of cinnamon instead of filling a bag, taking it home and pouring it into their container, and let them mix similar items if the price is the same so they don’t need to use as many produce bags.

Are you talking about the food or the container? I’ve heard most of our sea-food may have micro-plastics…

Why waste time with the trash bin, cut out the middle man and just throw it straight into the ocean. It’s going to wind up there anyway.
