Simple, have your kid go into the Navy or Air Force or a University with ROTC. The service path gives them years to mature and find out what they want to do with their life. ROTC pays the way and you’re an officer on graduation. The modern GI bill pays for college upon discharge. I would never advise a kid to join the Army or Marines.
First you have to disabuse employers of the notion that they should not consider applicants with less then a four year degree. Or expect colleges to churn out work-ready drones. That’s not what higher education was ever meant to be.

Or they could start teaching her how to run the landscaping business… a few community college classes on accounting and business management…
