I’ve read that strong monofilament fishing line will keep deer out of your garden. String it about 3 feet off the ground. They can’t see it, and it scares them away when they hit it. An electric dog fence might work best for rabbits.

I know a woman who put a 10-foot-high fence around her garden. It did not successfully keep the deer out. She had to put a chicken wire roof on it.

These two are the same type of people who bemoan hunting. Managed hunting helps keep the wildlife levels stable so they don’t die due to starvation.
