I’ve encountered two kinds of people during my brief fling with online Scrabble. One kind can quote the OED forward and backward. The other kind will get all whiny if challenged on a word.
(Koff—) No, sorry, “glond” is not in the OED. Not even as a “variant spelling” of some word, or in the alternative via a “transmission error” (it’s possible to do such a search on line).
Glond is an archaic name given to two different species of plants:
Cowherb, Vaccaria hispanica, a flowering plant in the pink family used in Chinese traditional medicineAwlwort, Subularia aquatica, an aquatic plant in the mustard family
