When you are a very rich donor, a little gerrymandering is not too hard to get.

Let’s see, if I do that it would move me into Illinois… so that won’t work.

Sell the prop. To your corporate, change your 51% residency to a no-state tax state! Good gag, though!

Most people pay those taxes to get into a good school district. If you move those lines, what will that mean for his daughter’s education?

Reminds me of what Henry Ford did when he was planning the Willow Run plant to build B-24 bombers for WWII. The plant was originally planned to be built on land that straddled the Wayne County (Michigan) and Washtenaw County lines. He objected to Wayne County’s higher property taxes, so he had the planners design the building in the shape of an “L” so it would remain entirely in Washtenaw County. https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&id=92C851058B1B9079ACFA20719A99FB7DF7B62480&thid=OIP.oLHIld3mpK4viWfb8298TgHaEQ&mediaurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.strategos-m.com%2Fimages%2Ffactory%2520fotos%2FWillow4.jpg&exph=345&expw=600&q=willow+run+bomber+plant+shape&selectedindex=0&ajaxhist=0&vt=0&eim=0,1,2,3,4,6,8,10
