Careful you don’t get bit. My dog got his leg wrapped in a cable and when he tried to pull away it tightened & hurt more. When I tried to get him loose he snapped and I got bit and scratched but I got him loose, and still have the scars on both arms.
I was at a desert cactus walking exhibit (in Joshua Tree Natl Monument) when an idiot ignored all the signs and walked his dog up the trail. He was shortly back with the dog wearing many “jumping chollo” spine clusters and his hand bloodied from the dog’s teeth. I didn’t want to get involved with a dog and an idiot but my wife offered my help and the ranger who should have fined, beaten, or shot the owner didn’t have a first aid kit. So I muzzled the dog with a rope and used a comb to remove the spine clusters. Then I cleaned and bandaged the owner’s wounds and was finally allowed to escape. Annoying memory to this day. I usually have a feeling of satisfaction from helping others.

Get that dog to the vet. It needs shots or you have a high chance to get an Inhuman dog.

I’ve done that. Not as much fun as advertised…

Pretty sure that if a dog stepped on a nail it would come up through his foot from underneath, not it through the top.

Seems the nail is facing the wrong way if the dog stepped on it.
