Sally is entering the house.<BR><BR> Sally enters the living room where Charlie is sitting on the couch reading. She raises her arms and shouts, "I can't believe I'm so stupid!"<BR><BR> She kicks the rug and says, "Why do I believe him?"<BR><BR> Charlie asks, "Believe who?" Sally replies, "Linus! Why do I believe him?"<BR><BR> Linus and Sally are sitting in a pumpkin patch. Linus says, "If you sit here in the pumpkin patch, you may be the first one ever to see the "Great Pumpkin".."<BR><BR> Back home, Charlie asks Sally sitting next to him, "And you believe him?" Sally replies, "How could I help it? We actually heard something.."<BR><BR> Back in the pumpkin patch... Linus says, "Listen! Do you hear that? Do you see anything?" Sally answers, Yes, I see something."<BR><BR> Linus asks, "Is it the "Great Pumpkin"?"<BR><BR> Meanwhile, Snoopy comes driving through on a little truck and Sally cries out, "No! It's a zamboni!<BR><BR>

Final “Great Pumpkin” strip and the final mention of Zambonis. Charles Schulz founded and built a skating rink in Santa Rosa in the late 60s and all throughout the strip, he made a lot of references to Zamboni. Charlie Brown once said it best: “There are three things that people like to stare at: a roaring fire, a flowing stream, and a Zamboni polishing the ice.”
