It shows real class.."<BR><BR> Patty continues, "Cutting straight across shows a lack of breeding.."<BR><BR> ..."Of course, the best way is simply to fold the bread over.. that keeps all the nourishment in.."<BR><BR> Marcie responds, "You are sandwichly weird, sir.." Patty says, "I'm a purist, Marcie.."<BR><BR>

Yes, as Lucy once said, it loses flavor when you cut it. Folding is the best way.

But based on Lucy’s theory, cutting a sandwich corner-to-corner should be worse than cutting straight across. The diagonal cut is longer, therefore it destroys more cells and loses more flavor.
