I never liked this stupid comic strip back then because of the inhumane way the kids treated each other. AND I still DON’T!

P.S. Anyone who thinks Peanuts is inhumane should look at kids today. How is Peanuts inhumane anyway? Sheesh. I’m pretty sure Peanuts wouldn’t have run for fifty years if it was inhumane. I don’t know any strips with candy trees and flying unicorns. Sorry.

The cruel nature of children has always been one of the prominent themes of the strip. I think that’s why kids themselves liked Peanuts. They recognize the cruelty they have to endure illustrated in the strip.
