Fake like you’re swinging away…….and then bunt. Simple enough for you?

In any case they want her to miss, so she might as well just go ahead and bunt…

Sixty years ago, what boys let girls play baseball with them at all?

I think this is where Donald Rumsfeld got the inspiration for the known versus unknown statement.

If Lucy can do anything other than strike out, I think everyone will be surprised. ;)

Susan, you asked who plays baseball in a dress. When this strip was drawn girls didn’t wear pants all that often. When I was in school (1946 - 1959) girls wore only dresses or skirts & blouses. Only on snow days were they allowed to wear pants and then, only under their skirts or dresses.

Those were good days. 1949 / 50 Ford. 1952 Ford & Chevy. 1958 Chevy Impala. Yep! Those were good old days. Gas $.25 / gal. Coke was 5 cents.

It’s nice to see the so called “Queen Bee” have a touch of insecurity for a change.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I’m not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
