My dog seems to be able to smell the land dump that’s three miles away. Maybe it’s a sure sign of spring!

I go by the number of dead skunks in the road since they hibernate.

In MI, you can also tel it’s spring by the number of fools wearing short sleeves in 40 degree weather.
