The former asks,"What's the matter? Bad tube? Loose connection?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown replies,"No!! It doesn't have any good programs!"<BR><BR>

Ah, yes, this is 1951. I was 4 years old, and we didn’t have a TV. So, radio was the entertainment center in the house. We didn’t get a TV for a couple more years. In fact, it was Jan 2, 1953. The reason I remember is that, on the way home, on the car radio, we heard about Hank Williams dying the day before. Two stations! In those days, you didn’t get the news of things happening right away.
