Linus (in his bathing trunks) and Snoopy are on the beach with the sun blazing down on them. Snoopy looks, as the ice-cream that Linus is eating, drips to the ground.<br> <br> Snoopy reaches out with his tongue to lick up the melted ice-cream that has fallen to the ground.<br> <br> Linus gives a questioning look to Snoopy as he yells, "WHOOP!" and flips over.<br> <br> Snoopy, shuddering, walks off and thinks, "Never try to lick ice-cream off a hot sidewalk!"<br> <br>

Another favorite strip I have remembered nearly my whole life! I read these strips shortly after learning to read!
