Just imagine what the poor toad thinks.
I imagine the “poor toad” is rather beyond thinking, considering the “toad sweat” in yesterday’s strip.
I’d say it’s already “pining for the fjords”, so to speak.
I could, however, tell you a series of words you’d hear if Agnes asked me to hold her (probably ex-) toad…
if I weren’t leery of using some of them on this site.
C’mon, Trout! What kind of Bud are you? Everythone holds on to their Buddy’s Toad when they go to the restroom!
Haha this is one of the very few comics that gives me a good laugh. Thank you Tony :-)
Wow Trout! You’re experiencing a whole bunch of firsts today!
Love the phrase “another series of words…”, I’ve got to use that move often, or even once.
What is that line going from Trout’s mouth to Agnes’s nose in panel 3? I suppose it’s shading of some kind, but it looks like a tongue sword… ☺
With Agnes, there’s always a series of words you never expected to hear.
No one here is afraid of warts?
I love those rare occasions when some odd circumstance causes me to say to someone, "I never thought I’d say this, but . . . "
