The fashions for men from the ’70’s were for the most part totally ridiculous. I remember when everyone was pushing me to get a leisure suit, sure glad I resisted. And those gawd-awful flare leg/bell bottom pants were okay if you were in the Navy, but on everyone else along with the platform shoes was just plain idiotic. Ties a mile wide too with shirts that had collars like eagle wings! Boy, sure don’t miss those days.
