All that Charlie Brown says in panel 2 onward was adapted two and a half years later for the Peanuts Xmas special,when he says,“I wish there was no (Xmas)holiday season,I know nobody likes me. So why have a Xmas holiday season to emphasize it?”you can tell that was modeled on this strip.
