"So you're not going to school Monday, huh, Sally?" Charlie Brown asks. "Oh, yes, I'm going...I changed my mind..." Sally says. She holds a box in her hands.<BR><BR> "Mom bought me a new lunch box.." Sally holds it up.<BR><BR> "I figured if Mom went to all the trouble and expense of getting me a new lunch box, I'd better go to school..." Sally examines the lunch box.<BR><BR> "BUT THAT'S THE ONLY REASON I'M GOING!" She announces, waving her fist. Charlie Brown somersaults through the air.<BR><BR>

That’s just what I was thinking—September 9, 1963, was a WHOLE week after Labor Day, so I wonder, did some schools start the Monday after Labor Day, at the time? Because I, too, always went back either the Tuesday or Wednesday, at latest, right after Labor Day.
