Peppermint Patty says, "Glad to know ya, pal!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "Now, if you'll come over here, I'll introduce you to Lucy and some of the other girls . . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty says, "Y'know what?"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty whispers, "That shortstop is the funniest lookin' kid I've ever seen!"<BR><BR>

And it would be ANOTHER EIGHT YEARS, until Peppermint Patty would learn the TRUTH about Snoopy—that he is a DOG. (she would learn this “shocking” fact from Marcie, in March 1974—during the cartoon serial, where she decides to quit school, and sit atop Snoopy’s doghouse, until Marcie can’t take PP’s silliness any longer, and forces her to come down, by dragging her down, and right after Marcie has finally succeeded, in getting PP down, is when she(Marcie)tells PP:“You have been wrong, sir, about both Snoopy’s house, and Snoopy himself! The house is a DOGHOUSE, not a guest cottage, and Snoopy is a BEAGLE, not a funny-looking kid with a big nose!”
