“German buffet” sounds like a euphemism? Maybe to the guy whose five favorite movies are all pornos.
Americans love German food. Particularly the kind said to originate in Hamburg and Frankfurt.
It took me awhile, but I did figure out what those “inferences” were.
My very German Great-Grandma Beyer’s culinary specialty was stewed prunes served over noodles. I am so sad I never got to try it (he said sarcastically, in case that wasn’t obvious).
My wife made some authentic German fried potatoes, what a treat. They were pretty much like what I had in the Dusseldorf/Koln area.
