Believe him Marm. You will be sicker than a 50 cent chicken.

The kid should know better than to entice Marm by eating that chocolate near him. It smells so good to us, imagine how it smells to a dog.

Had a neightor dog once who’s barking kept me awake ALL THE TIME. Used to fantasize about feeding it a big chocolate bar & telling it’s owners “Oh, hell, I didn’t know!”

Next time The Kid eats chocolate he needs to have some treats for Marm with him too.

He makes a good point.

The Problem with Mooching … Trying to say NO !

It’s about time somebody told Marmaduke the truth about dogs and chocolate!

You have to admit, Marm, he is looking out for your good and wants you to stay around a little bit longer!

Marm, you’re 60+ years old. Lay off the chocolate and go for another 60, OK?

Noooo! Marm! Do NOT touch the chocolate! In fact, stay away from sugar entirely!

I still can’t get Sweetheart to understand that. She gives me the big brown eye hurt look every time!

I knew of a dog who ate a couple pounds of rather expensive Swiss chocolate and was none the worse for it
