Interesting. Brazil just made a major oil strike and at the same time they run more of their cars on ethanol than just about any other country on the planet.
Actually, from what I read in my local rag several months ago, they’ve severely cut back on ethanol after their crops have been devastated by having to put too much into crops for ethanol and not having enough for actual food and manufacturing of other goods. They also realized it was less effective and more costly overall. But they do still use a large amount of ethanol, that is true.
