    Maybe he’s trying to use the power of his mind to cause it to move. Well, that’s probably a lost cause.

    I guess that’s kind of like when people say, “If you want something bad enough it will come true.” But of course, the wanting doesn’t make it happen. You have to DO something to make it happen.

    Of course there may be exceptions.

    Our dog has been Cleaning her mind” for years. Last time we gave a tennis ball, she hardly looked at it. Then later, we found it in little peaces - no playing catch with her.

    If nobody would play with him, one of my Shelties used to drop a tennis ball down the stairs, run down to find it, then carry it back to the top and drop it down again.

    But then, he also responded to both spoken and hand commands.
