    The first airliner “black box” was actually a yellow sphere. What’s more interesting is that it was made by General Mills, the Cheerios cereal people.

    (During Word War II, as with many big companies, the in-house mechanics of General Mills were pressed into service making military hardware. They turned out to be very good at it, so the company remained in the precision aircraft equipment business for years afterward.)

    I’m not surprised about the chromosomes. I think they’re confusing it with DNA sequencing. Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes. Anything more or less results in severe developmental issues .
