    Standard poodles were originally bred for hunting. They can be quite fierce, as my fingers well remember.

    These yappy miniatures and toys are just as likely to be fierce but if you look like a cheap Chinese toy, you’re bound to have the p£&& taken out of you.

    Poo-Jo I like it.

    Poodles can be mean when protecting their territory. Little ones can too when they stop the shaking. Whats up with the shaking? Are they scared, cold, nervous?

    I have three dogs and the poodle is by far the most territorial and fierce. She’s absolutely certain about her place in the world and what and who she’s protecting. And of course she’s wicked smart.
