Canât blame the Cabby. He doesnât know them and heâs been gouged more than once. By the way, is that a cigar in his puss?
Nah; he just donâ wanna get stiffed, see?
Perhaps Clovia and Slim will learn something from the cabbie, such as how to avoid having a customer get away without payingâŠ
Great great artwork in todayâs strip. Scancarelli does such amazingly detailed drawings.
The driver looks cartoonish in the last panel but in the first one he looks âreal.â Would this be another person Jim knows?
I know this would upset the flow of the story, but - shouldnât they have discussed whether they had cab fare BEFORE they got into the cab?
whmIII, Not in a family strip.
^That âtook a back seatâ to Clovia hiking home, either in heels or barefoot.
Cab fare (among other expenditures of the evening) was for a later discussion, perhaps at elevated levels.
I suspect we havenât heard the last of Cousin Skinner, either.
