Great great artwork in today’s strip. Scancarelli does such amazingly detailed drawings.

The driver looks cartoonish in the last panel but in the first one he looks “real.” Would this be another person Jim knows?

I know this would upset the flow of the story, but - shouldn’t they have discussed whether they had cab fare BEFORE they got into the cab?

^That ‘took a back seat’ to Clovia hiking home, either in heels or barefoot.

Cab fare (among other expenditures of the evening) was for a later discussion, perhaps at elevated levels.

I suspect we haven’t heard the last of Cousin Skinner, either.
