Hey Bob, those ribs are going to get sand all over them!!

Research Dept:

The building is apparently the original Joe’s Kansas City Barbecue….

for whose in-house newspaper, Charlie actually has been creating “Cowtown” for the last few years.

They have a gas station out front…. or are located IN a gas station…

and were at least once voted “Best Barbecue in America” on Yelp!

I guess they must own, or are located near, a disc golf course.

Where Bob, of course, is building a model of the restaurant in sand… while standing in a sand trap or sand pit.

I didn’t know disc golf had sand traps… but leave it to Bob.

He’s probably doing it in hopes they’ll give him some ribs…

I don’t blame him… I’m doing all this in the same hopes…

but…. sigh…. they probably wouldn’t deliver them 2000 miles away anyhow.

At least Bob’s heart is in the right place.

Lot of beachfront property in KC, is there? Wait; it’s coming!

Where was JOE’S? I remember a bunch of BBQs but not that one.

Art sustains life. Barbecue sustains life. Bob’s sculpture brightens the world!

Got the wife a small smoker for Mother’s Day and today we had the first feast. Pulled pork, smoked with a blend of hickory and Jack Daniels oak. It was amazing ♥
